Google’s AdWords  



In addition to having a website that is designed for search engine optimization, more traffic can be driven to your website via placing advertisements (with copy) within Google’s Sponsored Search (pay per click) program, called AdWords.  Before beginning placing ads within Google, we strongly recommend that keyword research is performed and a search engine optimization strategy is developed by online marketing specialists. 

With Google’s AdWords, ads for your business appear within the “Paid” / “Sponsored Links” sections: 

Keywords are what people use when they perform searches within Google. 

When using Google’s AdWords, your ad appears beside relevant search results. 

How Google’s Pay-per-Click Campaigns Work:

Costs Per Click for Top Positions:

For instance, if you were a dermatologist providing services within the region of Tampa-St.Petersburg, FL, the word botox may be an important keyword within your website. When keyword research is performed and a daily budget of $20.00 per day for the AdWords campaign is entered, you’ll learn the Estimated Average Cost Per Click can range from $3.40 – $5.09. Yet, if the cost per click is out of your budget range, then it may be beneficial for you to consider additional, less expensive keywords for your pay per click ad campaigns.

Average CPC: $4.25 (at a maximum CPC of $16.75)
Estimated clicks per day: 2 – 3 (at a daily budget of $20.00)
